Not every requirement fits a price list

A site that stands idle for three weeks. A warehouse doubling its shifts before Christmas. Premises that need guarding only during a move. A company that, after an incident, wants stronger cover for a month and then a review. These are legitimate, frequent requests that match no catalogue service — and that too often get forced into an oversized contract.

This service exists to avoid that. The scope is defined together, starting from concrete variables: location, hours, expected footfall, characteristics of the site, operational needs and level of exposure to risk. What comes out is a proportionate plan with a start date, an end date and the option to revise it.

Forms the service can take

• Temporary guarding over defined periods: closures, holidays, building works, moves, stocktakes.

• Scheduled and recurring cover, active only on given days or during set hours.

• Reinforcement of staff already on site, in-house or from another provider, during peaks in activity.

• Extraordinary cover after a critical incident, for as long as it takes to restore normal conditions.

• Combined services bringing guarding, access control, patrols and monitoring under one contract.

How a tailored service is designed

The path is short and verifiable. A site visit to see the context and understand what genuinely needs protecting. A written operating plan with posts, shifts, instructions and escalation procedures. Activation with officers briefed on the site and a single point of contact. Then review: a report every shift and revision of the plan whenever hours, spaces or risks change.

The same structure applies to three days of guarding and to an annual contract. The scale changes, the method does not.

Private security, in liaison with the authorities

Whatever the configuration, the service remains unarmed and operates within private security: prevention, control, deterrence, assistance and reporting. Escalation procedures are set out in the plan and provide, where the situation requires it, for immediate involvement of 112 and cooperation with the police and with those responsible for the site’s security.
